    What you are viewing is a rare Vintage Frank's Dove Brand Pure Imported Olive Oil 4 oz. Bottle.  This bottle is a beautiful rounded pyramid shape with two grip lines at the top.  The bottle measures 6 1/4 inches tall  and 2 1/8 inches across the  widest section.  The bottle opening measures a mere 3/4 inch across.  The label is in very good condition for its age with the red, white, green and black colors still vibrantly showing.  The metal top is not dented but shows signs of daily use.  The bottom of the bottle shows a round blow mold mark and the makers mark of the bottle.
    The Frank Tea & Spice Co began making individual spice packets in 1896 and later expanded their offerings to tea, spices, extracts, peanut butter, olives and olive oil.  The company was unique in that it made and sold all of its tins and designed and printed all of the labels for both tins and bottles.
    This Olive Oil Bottle would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
