Vintage 1964 Filmways Poynter Products Addams Family Thing Bank w/ Box

Description

This is for an original 1964 Addams Family Thing coin grabber bank which was made by Poynter Products for Filmways Presentations to promote the new Addams Family TV show. The box is in great condition and the bank itself has some rubs and scratches on the sides but still displays nicely. I put two fresh “C” batteries in the toy and the motor would run when a coin is inserted in the slot but the hand will not come out. It would probably be an easy fix for someone that knows what they are doing. I lifted the lid and the green hand looks like it may be out of alignment but I’m not the one to fix it. Again, the box is in great condition along with the original instructions, the bank runs with two fresh batteries but the hand won’t come out. A great example of a rare TV toy.
