Description

RELIC CHROME passive magnetic scatter wound humbucker pickup.  Chrome worn through to the copper underneath, darkened, scratched and sometimes slightly dented, designed specifically for relic resonator guitar.  Control box has painted "rusty" patina.   Delivers clear and powerful tone.  This setup works equally well on 6 and 12 string guitars with steel or steel core strings.  Volume and tone controls.  4K output.
The ultra low profile allows the pickup to slip under the strings - no need to cut a hole in the face of your guitar.  It fits between the neck and the resonator and like the volume and tone control box, is held securely in place with a 3M removable adhesive strip. Pickup measures 2-3/4" (70mm) X 1-1/2" (38mm) X 5/16" (8mm), including adhesive strip.  Be sure to measure where you plan to install the pickup to be sure it fits before you make the purchase.
Worn and battered chrome top.
13" (330mm) shielded cable between the pickup and control box provides ample reach for locating the components.  An 8" (203mm) ground connection is included for attachment at the tailpiece mounting screw to shield against electrical interference, a common issue with amplified resonator guitars.
Control box measures 2-3/8" (58mm) X 1-3/8" (33mm) X 3/4" (19mm).  Quality 1/4" jack.
Your pickup will look like the one pictured above, but will have its own unique look as these are made individually, distressed and painted by hand.
