In order to get your unlocking code, we need your

. Here is how to get it:
1. Honda Serial On-Screen
Turn the ignition switch
ON
.
Hold the preset buttons

, whilst turning on your radio.
A 8 digit serial number will appear on the radios display.
Some radios are 10 characters long, and displayed with
'U'
followed by
4 digits
, then
'L'
followed by
4 digits
.
Example, your display will look something like:
U1234 L5678
. (it may be split onto two screens).
Or will indicate all 8 numbers at one time. Example:
12345678
.

2003 Onwards with Navigation System
Turn the ignition switch
ON
.
When the radio is turned on
'Code'
should display on the radios display.
Turn
OFF
the radio.
Press and hold the top halves of the
SEEK/SKIP
and
CH/DISC
bars, and then press and release the
PWR/VOL
knob. This display toggles between two screens.
A 10 digit serial number will appear on the radios display.
There will be 10 characters in the radio serial number. The letter 'U' followed by 4 numbers then the letter 'L', also followed by 4 numbers.
Example, your display will look something like:
U1234 L5678
. (it may be split onto two screens).
Or will indicate all 8 numbers at one time. Example:
12345678
.
Please make note of this number, as you will need this number for the form on the next page.
Sometimes you may be able to acquire your radio's serial in the Honda hidden menu (menu, map, cancel) Under status and Navi ECU the serial will display starting with have 3 letters before it for example
GNB22005432
3. Honda Radio Label
If the methods above do not work for your Honda radio, you will need to
remove the radio
. Once you remove it, you need to
locate the label
with the
serial number
which should be on the top or on one of the side of the radio.
