    Description

My signature Stratocaster set has flat poles with no stagger (all polepieces are the same height). I'm more than happy to accommodate custom magnet staggers, including vintage stagger, reverse vintage stagger, and more. Simply shoot me a message with your inquiry. Different winding specs are also possible if desired. Let me know what you would like and I'd be happy to discuss custom options with you.

My newer guitar tech videos also use original music using my own pickups in my guitars, as additional references for the tonal qualities.
Great tonal variety with clear, vintage voiced neck and middle pickups, and a fuller, stronger bridge pickup. Open and uncompressed with great sensitivity to attack, whether you’re using a pick or your fingers. All three pickups work great with pedals. Overdrive, fuzz, stacking gain pedals, and everything inbetween.
The vintage turn count on the neck pickup gives it a clear, scooped mid tone that won’t get muddy when pushing a tube amp hard. Clear on chords, and articulate with a round low end for leads. Picking or strumming softer and closer to the neck will produce round, bell-like tones and rich harmonics. Works great with overdrive, and with a toe-down wah pedal gets searing Hendrix-style lead tones.
The middle pickup is wound just slightly more than the neck. Really shines for rhythm playing, with more presence than the neck position but still sitting back comfortably in the mix. Unique lead tones, and balances great when running in either parallel or series with the neck and bridge pickups. Gets a great classic ‘cluck’ in parallel mode. In series, it keeps things from getting too dark and muddy.
The bridge pickup is overwound for thicker, bolder tone. Great output for leads, with no icepick high-end. I like to think of it as a ‘bridge plus’ pickup. All the classic sparkle you’d expect from an AlNiCo 5 Strat bridge pickup, but with the icepick high end trimmed down, and with a little more power. Picking harder and closer to the bridge will get you plenty of snap and bite without uncomfortably piercing highs. Playing normally with moderate attack produces a full, strong tone that retains the familiar sting that Strat bridge pickups are famous for.
*WHITE PICKUP COVERS are DEFAULT*. Contact me if you would like aged white, cream, or black covers.
    *6-32 x 3/4" Pan Head Mounting Screws*
    *Vintage Style Mounting Springs*
*Vintage Style Gavitt Cloth Pushback Wire Leads*
*Standard 2-1/16"(52mm) Spacing on All Pickups*
    The measurements are *approximately*:
    Neck: 5.7k
    Middle: 6.0k
    Bridge: 6.5k
The turn count on all three pickups is standardized, and slight variation in DCR does not reflect a different turn count. I make these to the same specs every time, and quality control with an LCR meter and Gauss meter.
Middle Pickup is RWRP for hum cancelling in positions 2 and 4. Default polarity is as follows:
    Neck: North Top
    Middle: South Top
    Bridge: North Top
    Lead Wire Length (approximate):
    Neck: 10"
    Middle: 9"
    Bridge: 7"
