Description
This digital gauge with white LED display can measure the diesel engine boost pressure from -0.33 to 3.30 bars (or -5.0 to 48.0 PSI). It can be set to display pressure in either Bar or PSI unit. The recall function allows user to check the maximum or the minimum pressure and its occurrence time after run. The meter has a programmable alarm that can be set as high limit or low limit alarm. The alarm is displayed on the front panel with bright indicator that is very noticeable. The alarm signal can also be sent out from the built-in relay. It can turn on a buzzer or other device. The LED brightness can be synchronized with headlight. When the headlight turned on in the night, the display will be dimmed by the illumination signal. It can also be dimmed directly from the key pad.
The meter is supplied with a high precision 3 Bar electronic boost pressure sender as shown in the picture below. Unlike most of digital boost gauge on the market (and the other MAP sensor we offered), this sensor measures relative pressure (or gauge pressure) instead of absolute pressure. When not pressurized, the sensor will always give zero pressure signal regardless the elevation where the vehicle is at. It is the same way as the mechanical boost gauge will behave.
The connector of the sender has 2 meters (6.5ft) of automotive grade cable installed. We can also shipped the connector unassembled without cable if buyer wanted. Tubing is not included with this auction.
