This is a beautiful set of TWELVE Cream Soup and Saucer sets brought to you by the classic American Manufacturer of beautiful china... Castleton
The pattern is called Bellwood, and features a heavy beaded scalloped border in bright gold, along with a center pattern of a colorful spring collection of tulips and other beautiful flowers in colors of blue, yellow, shades of pinks and blues... a garland of gold leaves also encircles the each of the saucers and the cream soups as well...
the saucer measures 6 7/8" in diameter and the cream soup measures 4 3/4" in diameter...
Not only can these pieces be used as cream soups, but I find that they make a fabulous presentation for a dessert.. very versatile and very stunningly beautiful at the same time.
the set comes to you from a fine Michigan estate where the pieces were rarely if ever used.
they are in excellent condition with no chips, flakes, cracks, or crazing...
