Steps to Install the replacement filter without any extra tools:
Locate the ice maker power switch. Using the power switch, turn the icemaker off
Press the filter release button adjacent to the filter that is being replaced. Discard the old filter.
Insert the new filter straight into the filter receiver until you hear a double ""click""
Turn the ice maker power back on.
Reset the Change Water Indicator by referring to instructions found in your owner’s manual.
Run water from the dispenser for 5 minutes (approximately3 gallons) to clear the system and prevent air from entering the system
The filter needs to be installed correctly so that the water gets filtered out well. To be on the safe side, it is always recommended to replace the filter after a period of 180 days for avoiding health-related concerns.
